Andy Black is one of the most hardworking people in the entertainment industry, since 2010 he has released 6 albums with his band Black Veil Brides, he released his debut solo album back in May 2016 and released his second solo album ‘The Ghost Of Ohio’ back in April this year, he has also stared in the film American Satan and will soon be on our screens starring in the TV spin off to that film called Paradise City, He is also busy working on his autobiography and released ‘The Ghost Of Ohio’ comic book to coincide with the release of his solo album of the same name and he has also found time to tour the world many times over both with his band Black Veil Brides and on his own solo outings.

Back in March Andy Black announced that he was bringing his Ghost Of Ohio solo tour to the UK in July, he announced 6 dates with the tour opening at London, Electric Ballroom on the 5th July and ending at Birmingham, O2 Institute on the 11th July, as soon as tickets went on sale his legion of fans quickly snapped up tickets with a few shows selling out straight away and other being close to a sell-out, shortly after the tour got announced Andy Black announced that he was bringing Adore Delano out with him as the main support for the tour.

Tonight we headed down to the Bristol, Anson Rooms show of the tour and when we arrived at the venue moments before the doors were due to open the roads and pavements outside the venue were jam packed with fans queuing around the block in eager anticipation to enter the venue to get the best spot for tonight’s show.

Now prior to tonight’s show I didn’t know too much about Adore Delano, what I did know was that she previously appeared on American Idol and also RuPaul’s Drag Race so I instantly knew that her set was going to be full of entertainment and well worth the wait and how right was I.

As soon as Adore Delano took to the stage she had the crowd in the palm of her hand with her Whitty humour and comical goodness she cracked joke after joke in-between songs where she covered many songs in such an exciting way such as Amy Winehouse ‘Back To Black, Cher ‘Believe’ as well as her own songs ‘A Pizza Me’ and ‘I Adore U’.br>
It was clear from the moment that Adore Delano stepped on stage tonight that a lot of people had come out especially to see her as the crowd were going wild and it was clear to see why as Adore Delano is a talented entertainer and I would recommended getting tickets for the Heels Of Hell tour in October when the ultimate drag package tour hits the UK.

After a 30 minute change around on stage Andy Black dressed in his signature black attire and his backing band took to the stage to massive chants and screams from the fans and wasted no time opening up with fan favourite ‘Ribcage’ which was quickly followed up by his debut solo single ‘They Don’t Need To Understand’ and new track ‘Westwood Road’, Andy Black was on top form tonight storming back and forth across the stage in near pitch black due to the crazy strobe lighting show which was more dark than it was light.

The set that Andy Black played tonight was a short one consisting of only 13 songs but he played an equal about of songs from both of his studio albums whilst also covering Green Day’s ’21 Guns’ which equally went down a storm with tonight’s excited crowd.

As the set progressed videos and images were projected on to the screen at the back of the stage but at times it came across to dark like things weren’t set up right but this didn’t stop anyone from having a good time as Andy Black and his band were giving a solid performance on stage and the crowd in front were dancing and jumping around like they had no worries in the world.

The likes of ‘Beautiful Pain’, ‘Put The Gun Down’ and ‘Homecoming King’ has massive sing-a-long moments from the crowd and it was the final song of the night ‘We Don’t Have To Dance’ which really got the room moving as everyone sung along word for word to one of the most infectious Andy Black songs ever created.

As always Andy Black came and delivered, through years of touring he has become such a solid musician who really shines on the live circuit and tonight hundreds of fans left the venue buzzing from the show they had just witnessed.

I am sure it won’t be long before Andy Black is back in the UK touring again but your guess is as good as mine as to if it will be on a solo tour or a Black Veil Brides tour, a band who are currently teasing the re-release of their debut album for its 10th anniversary which is just around the corner.
