Against Me! is a punk rock band from the US, The
Original Cowboy is there 5th studio release.
Right from the off there's not much striking
me as original about this band, its even seems
that they sound a bit indie too.The songs are
very punk in there length, no song breaks the
3 minute barrier except the last song which goes
on and on at over 7 minutes.This is pretty much
run of the mill punk music, someone once said
learn 3 chords start a band, this seems a formula
that's stuck too. There's nothing complex about
this album and seems to have done in one take,
its pretty raw, and seems to just blast by, im
not sure whats going to take longer writing this
review or listening to this album. Im sure a lot
of work has gone into making this album but a
bit more wouldn't have hurt, there's nothing much
catchy about this album, it goes by with out grabbing
your attention, for a 5th album, must do better
for the 6th.
