Kovak - I'll Be Good To YouKovak – I’ll Be Good To You

Kovak remind me very much of The Sohodolls with the way that the band are dominated by males but have a female vocalist with a very strong set of vocals, and also in the way that their sound relies very heavily on electronics and 80’s style disco beats, the only thing that splits the two bands apart is the look and image of the band members, the Sohodolls all dress pretty smartly in black and white with their scene haircuts whilst Kovak have an really odd dress sense with no member sticking to the same style, they dress like chavs right down to gay disco dancers.

If you are into indie, pop, electro dance then Kovak are a band that you are really going to enjoy, just from listening to ‘I’ll Be Good To you’ I know that Kovak are onto good things as each band member are so good at what they do, front lady Annelies Van De Velde, not only is she a bit of eye candy she also has a really beautiful listenable voice, whist Karl Bray knocks out some razor sharp guitar riffs, Martin White is the king of disco beats knocking out classic synths time and time again, whilst Darren Bray and Daniel John Page do a top job on the Bass and Drums.

‘I’ll Be Good To You’ is the new single from Kovak, and on the 13th July the band are offering people the chance to download the single for free from their My Space page and to be honest I would just at the chance if I was you because the song is fantastic, the song features enough synths, groove and electronic beats for you to get your groove on to, so it’s time for you all to dust down your dads old dancing shoes, download this track, throw a party and dance like it’s the 80’s all over again.
