It’s easy to say that Guns On The Roof are
one of the hardest working bands in the UK, over
the past couple of years they have played hundreds
of shows and played with many different bands, and
I don’t mean your local underground bands
I mean big established bands such as rancid, The
Misfits, Stiff Little Fingers, Dead Kennedys, Spunge,
The Briggs and many more, they also released their
latest album 'New Frustration' back in October 2008.
It’s now the start of 2009 and it seems
that Guns On The Roof have no plans of slowing
down, instead they have a small set of one off
shows throughout January and the start of February,
they then plan to tour across Germany and Austria
a little bit later in the year but before they
do that they are releasing their new single 'Shattered
Feeling' on the 2nd March.
Ok the 2nd march may seem like a long time away
but when you are a hard working band like Guns
On The Roof then the time is going to fly by,
the song is the last song on their latest album
'New Frustration' and to be honest the song is
quite tasty, it has some big guitar riffs, bouncy
baselines, melodic vocals and an overall tight
sound and I am pretty sure after a few listens
you will find yourself singing "wooooah wooooah"
as the song fades out.
Guns On The Roof are a band that deserve success
and it doesn’t matter if these guys do or
don’t find the success that they truly deserve
yet they should just be proud with how hard working
and committed as a band they are, and hopefully
the success should follow on one day.
