Kate Nash - Merry HappyKate Nash – Merry Happy

Kate Nash came out of no where in 2007 to become one of the most popular hyped up solo artists of the year, with her debut album 'Made Of Bricks' selling over 450,000 copies in the UK alone. 2008 has also been a successful year for Kate so far with her winning best solo artist awards at both the Brit and the NME awards. Kate has also just completed her biggest UK tour to date which ended off at London Hammersmith Apollo and already has some big shows penciled in for the summer with a show supporting the Kaiser Chiefs at the massive Elland Road football stadium in Leeds and an appearance at the Isle Of White Festival which is sure to be Kate's first festival appearance of 2008 with many more to follow.

The latest single release from Kate Nash is 'Merry Happy' and is released at the end of March, the song is taken from 'Made Of Bricks' and is a really upbeat sounding pop song with lyrics stating the simple things that can make people happy in life. The lyrics are quite fun such as "dancing at discos/eating cheese on toast", the song also has a really simple yet catchy sing a long choruses of "Do, do, doo dah-do-do".

'Merry Happy' is one of the most happiest songs from 'Made Of Bricks' and is being released over three formats with only 1,000 copies being released on each format which is sure to sell out straight away. At the moment there is no stopping Kate Nash and 2008 is shaping up to be bigger than what 2007 was for her.
