 
Back on the 7th May American Hi Fi came out of
hiatus and played a sold out show at the 100 Club
in London and straight after that they released
their comeback single ‘Alison’ which
got rave reviews across the board, the band also
announced that they have a new album in the works
and that it is called ‘Blood And Lemonade’
and due for release on the 15th September, and
now to help contain their fans excitement counting
down the days until the album is release American
Hi Fi have just announced ‘Golden State’
as the second single to be taken from their forthcoming
album.
‘Golden State’ is a lot heavier than
‘Alison’ and you will notice that
from the opening seconds when the thunderous riffs
chug away , yet when the chorus hits the song
goes down the melodic route that we have always
come to love and expect from American Hi Fi and
that is what helps cement ‘Golden State’
as another solid slice of American Hi Fi.
On the back of ‘Alison’ and ‘Golden
State’ it is safe to say that I am excited
for the bands forthcoming album ‘Blood And
Lemonade’ as with these singles they have
proved that after so many years away from the
music scene they are still as relevant as ever
before.
