 
It have been about 15 months since My Chemical
Romance called it a day and now the band front
man Gerard Way has just unleashed his debut solo
single ‘Action Cat’ which is taken
from his as yet untitled debut album which is
due for release some time later in the year.
‘Action Cat’ is a big rock n’
roll anthem and fans of My Chemical Romance will
be pleasantly impressed with the direction Gerard
Way has decided to go with his solo material as
it stays true to the music that he has been making
for the majority of his life especially towards
the later parts of his My Chemical Romance career.
Vocally the song is very smooth as Gerard Way
really shows off his vocal range and style, whilst
instrumentally things are very fast and catchy.
Gerard Way always has a knack at creating great
music and if ‘Action Cat’ is anything
to go by it seems that the solo adventure that
Gerard Way is about to go on is going to be pretty
damn fun, excited and highly anticipated.
