Gallows - ChainsGallows – Chains

It has been nearly two years since Gallows released their self titled third studio album which also happened to be their first album with Wade Macneil on vocals, yet over the past year things have been pretty silent on the Gallows front until now the release of their brand new single ‘Chains’.

‘Chains’ is due for release on the 30th June and it is one hell of powerful song which is full of anger and general aggression, the song starts with haunting sounds and vocals from Helena who is the vocalist from Dios Mio and then seconds later Wade Macneil comes in screaming his bollocks off but not in the same frantic way he did on the bands self titled album as this time around the punk rock speed is nowhere to be seen and instead everything is deeper and darker than ever before.

Whenever the Gallows release new material they seem to reinvent their sound and that is exactly what they have done again with ‘Chains’ and once again kudos to Wade Macneil for seriously slaying the airwaves with his menacing vocals and also Lags for his amazing guitar riffs which show that despite losing a guitarist the Gallows still have the knack to write, record and perform so heavy stuff.
