 
Iced Earth are currently on the road touring around
the UK and Europe supporting Volbeat and as soon
as January hits the band are putting out their
eleventh studio album ‘Plagues Of Babylon’
and also embarking on a massive world tour which
will see them touring for the majority of the
year, however in the meantime to coincide with
the Volbeat tour Iced Earth have just unleashed
their new song ‘Plagues Of Babylon’
which also happens to be the title track from
their forthcoming album and if it is anything
to go by the album is going to be well worth the
wait.
‘Plagues Of Babylon’ is a near 8 minute
running epic power metal track, the song features
all the elements that have kept Iced Earth interesting
over the years from long introductions, great
big riffs, big build ups and break downs, solid
lead vocals which draw you in from the start,
gang vocals and spot on production.
With the track listing recently being released
for the forthcoming Iced Earth album and also
the lead single being unleashed I am sure that
fans of the band can’t control their excitement
and they have good reason not to as ‘Plagues
Of Babylon’ is a fantastic song of epic
proportions.
