Skid Row - This Is Killing MeSkid Row – This Is Killing Me

Back in April Skid Row released ‘United World Rebellion Chapter One’ which was a 7 track EP and also their first set of new music in 7 years for the band and also the start of a collection of EP’s which are due to be released over the next couple of years. Throughout October and November Skid Row are set to embark on a lengthy tour of the UK and Europe with Ugly Kid Joe and to coincide with this they are releasing ‘This Is Killing Me’ as an single.

‘This Is Killing Me’ is taken from the ‘United World Rebellion Chapter One’ EP and proves to be an extremely listenable song where Johnny Solinger really goes for it with his vocals and lays down what could be classed as the performance of his career as he lets rip with a big diverse range of vocals whilst the rest of the band softly play their instruments giving the song a big country ballad feel.

Now I know a lot of people think Skid Row aren’t the same without Sebastian Bach in the band and that may well be true but with ‘This Is Killing Me’ Skid Row have proved that they still have the knack to write songs which easily match if not better the greatness of ‘Youth Gone Wild’ and ’18 And Life’ which have been fan favourites for years now.
