 
Dinosaur Pile-Up are gearing up to release their
second studio album ‘Nature Nuture’
on the 13th May but in the meantime their brand
new single ‘Arizona Waiting’ is being
unleashed on the world in a couple of days and
a hell of a lot has been put into it if their
recent line up changes are anything to go by.
Just before Dinsoaur Pile-Up headed into the studio
to record ‘Nature Nurture’ drummer
Mike Sheils and bassist Johnny Seymour departed
the band within days of each other leaving Matt
Bigland on his own having to make a big decision
on if to call time on the band or continue to
record the album, and Matt being the kind of guy
who likes a challenge decided to relearn all the
instruments in a six week period and then head
into the studio alone to record the album.
‘Arizona Waiting’ is a big ballsy
rock N’ roll number with a poppy edge and
it is safe to say that despite everyone ditching
Matt at the last minute he has gone into the studio
given it his all and come out on top as ‘Arizona
Waiting’ is a big fist pumping song which
is easily going to be a fan favourite on the live
circuit.
The release of ‘Nature Nurture’ may
well be a couple of months away but ‘Arizona
Waiting’ is a good insight into what we
can expect once the album is unleashed in May,
I am personally excited just to see how Matt overcome
the big problems he was left with.
