Capital Sun - The Work SongCapital Sun – The Work Song

Capital Sun are an acoustic band from Birmingham who like to juggle your standard 9 – 5 job along with being in a band and I would imagine that is how the band’s latest single ‘The Work Song’ was born.

‘The Work Song’ has just been released and it is a very random sounding progressive rock n roll track but sadly there is nothing within the song that is going to get you gripped and I would imagine with most people one listen is more than enough as that certainly was the case with me.

The B-side ‘Why Am I Me?’ also lacks energy and lastability and is overall extremely dull sounding and a song that if I heard again it would be far too soon.

I do have a feeling that Capital Sun are going to fail to get to the dizzy heights of the bands that they have supported like The Enemy, The View and Sound Of Guns and will be stuck in their day time jobs for the near future.
