Klaxons - EchoesKlaxons – Echoes

I haven’t heard anything about the Klaxons for a long time now, the whole hype of the band has died down ever so slightly as they have been away writing and recording for their second album ‘Surfing The Void’ which I believe is very close from being finished and released, but in the meantime the band are giving their fans a slight taster from the album with their brand new single ‘Echoes’ which is released on the 16th August.

‘Echoes’ is slightly different from the material featured on the band’s debut album and what makes ‘Echoes’ sound different is the fact that the song sounds more mature, the synths are slightly toned down but still have that futuristic space age feeling about them and the vocals are bigger better and clearer than ever before really taking the journey on a vocally massive journey.

If ‘Echoes’ is anything to go by then I believe that the Klaxons will breeze through with their second album, every band has the hard task of releasing a cracking second album after their first has brought them into the mainstream and some succeed with the second album whilst many fail and I believe that the Klaxons will join the list of bands that have succeeded.
