Shy Child are a duo from Brooklyn made up of Nate
Smith and Pete Cafarella and they are a duo who
thrive on electronic pop, the band are soon to release
their new album ‘Liquid Love’ but in
the mean time will be releasing their latest single
‘Disconnected’.
‘Disconnected’ is a strange fuzzy
sounding electronic song which features really
fast paced near squeaky vocals, the song is not
bad but at the same time there is nothing about
it that really stands out, it does have a slight
catchy tinge to it but after a few listens that
wears off and you are back to square one.
If you are one of those nu-rave freaks who get
odd on an overload of electronic music then ‘Disconnected’
will be right up your street but if you’re
not really into that sort of music then there
really isn’t anything for you here as everything
is all so average.
